I wanted to replace my Shark cordless sweeper that was wearing out. The Dirt Devil was more flimsy than the Shark. It didn't pick up as well. The entire top of the sweeper was covered with dust after I used it; this never happened with the Shark. It was hard to turn on and off with my foot compared to the Shark. The final problem occurred after I had used it for less than a week and the left wheel broke off. I returned it for a refund. Although my experience with this product was disappointing, as always, my experience with Amazon was completely satisfactory. They have a return policy with no questions asked and send you a return mailing label. Danko This model Dirt Devil is a great little sweeper; it fits under chairs and other furniture; and it is lightweight and quiet. By Chicken Lips I bought this for my elderly mom to help out with basic cleanup since the vacuum is too heavy for her, and she can't bend her back very well to do regular sweeping. To her, this sweeper is a god-send. It picks up everything rather well from carpets and the bare kitchen floor. It is super light and maneuvers around very easily.
