Equipped with a powerful 12 amp motor and a unique V-shaped base, this upright vacuum cleaner directs dry messes into the center suction path while picking up fine particles along the arms, making quick, easy work of keeping bare floors and low-pile carpeting clean throughout the house. The vacuum's innovative shape reaches into corners and tight spots, plus cleans right up to the edge and along baseboards. It can even handle larger-size debris thanks to its funneling effect. Use the cleaner to remove soccer-cleat dirt by the front door, spilled cereal crunching under foot in the kitchen, food crumbs around chair legs and under cabinets, and pet hair that collects just about everywhere. The vacuum cleaner also provides a swivel head, which pivots left and right to ensure smooth maneuverability, a durable wire-reinforced 6-5/9-foot stretch hose, and a crevice tool for cleaning upholstery or hard-to-reach places. Other thoughtful design details include a 13-inch cleaning path, a 19-2/3-foot power cord with a quick-release cord wrap, a pre-motor filter, and a dirt container, which means no expensive bags to buy. I would like to begin by saying that I 2 (load shedding) dog with a dog door to the courtyard and are in and out all day tracking dirt / lets in all the time. I would also say that I have all hardwood floors throughout, and were called OCD about the cleanliness of my house. Before purchasing the Bissell Versus, I had a standard (HEAVY) Steam Vac (Dirt Devil), 2 wireless vacuum (one is a shark), and two portable suction. Always on a mission to find the perfect vacuum, I sucked (pun intended) right into the infomercial on Bissell Versus. After reading the reviews online (some large, some bad), I decided what the heck .. I will give it a shot. That's what I found after using it for the first time last night: 1) Difficult to find in stores, but finally found a local destination on sale for $ 59. (Yay!) 2) Easy to assemble. Really easy 3) of the reviews said it was difficult to maneuver worried, I found it pretty easy (I'm short!) I found it not to be too "top heavy" at all. WAY easier than my normal upright vac, and "V" head makes vacuuming around tables / chairs / furniture so much easier. 4) sucked all my dog-hair Tumbleweeds without problems, no matter how big they were, including some large leaves that had fallen out of my house plants, and a (large) dead bug, which eventually turned out, when I bought this vacuum. I was also very pleased with how much dust they picked up! I personally have no problem with the air blowing around the hair / bad .. VAC sucked it up properly before it was too far away. 5) The many reviews complaining about how the cable is short, I was afraid I would spend half my time disconnect / reconnection. Although it is shorter than my normal upright vacuum cleaner is, so it was not as bad as some say. 6) Keep in mind too much about me it's not always the hair from the baseboards, because of the "V" from the floor concerned - but I've had no problems at all I thought I needed the crevice nozzle / hose to the get wall, but luckily found out that I do not need (well, only once get behind the fridge). 7) I like the fact that it is bagless .. and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that it does not have a scroll down for hair / son / fuzz wrapped! I hated trying to cut, / drill, the viciousness of mine about vertical position of the roller. Versus just a big hole that sucked everything! Most of the interactions I had with the lower part, it was .. the hair on the little "raclette" thing, after I had finished sucking my house every 2 seconds. 8) The only thing I could find is that I can use it to try to vacuum dog hair from carpet as a couple, but it just was not doing the job. I will continue my hard for that, or one of my handhelds. So, needless to say .. I I recommend the Bissell Versus:) 61 of 64 people found the following review helpful. Much better than I expected and M. Perkins I would give it a 4.5 if I was allowed, because it does not do much in the pile under the rug, but it is a bare floor cleaner, so I will not ding it a whole star. It does exactly what is done for. I'll be honest, this vacuum was my husbands idea. I wanted something wireless. We have new laminate floors, and vacuum our "carpet" of age was not working. It was just kick the dirt back to us. I have a little wireless scanner that's affordable for small areas, but it is not only strong enough for any home. The Versus. It's a little strange to drive, because the nose is large V shape and articulated body, but when you're used to. all is well. The head of thin vacuum is great for the crumbs that fall under the refrigerator and the edge of the counter. The V shaped head sort of pushes everything to the center, where the suction is strongest and no debris is safe from this vacuum This is by far the best thing for bare floors I have used. Even.
